Mac Bug with controller and Mac OS after update.

Not sure what’s going on but before the new update I was able to play on my MacBook M1 2021 version with my Xbox controller. The day after the update the game doesn’t recognize the controller what so ever. The gamepad setting is set correctly within the game. Steam settings are set correctly. I have uninstalled and re installed. Controller works in steam overlay and configuration but that’s all I have had to test. I’ve tried everything my techy brain could think of. I’m gonna guess/assume this is a bug at the moment? Anyone else having this issue?
I also went over to my windows laptop and my controller worked perfectly. It’s gotta be something with Mac or steam maybe?

No issues using my DS4 controller on an M3 Mac and the GOG version.
