PC [BUG] white screen of doom

I haven't found a source. however, I can say two places I've found it. when viewing the intro and leaving the bus, I pressed skip and it was white. I then played with a skipped intro. it played normally until I entered willys house. I got a white screen again. however, this time I heard gameplay still happening. I could walk but didn't know where.

I have the same problem, after a few minutes of playing the screen turns white but the game keeps running

The screen going white shortly after launching the game is a common problem for me on an old laptop with built-in graphics. I always just minimize and then restore the game to fix it.
