PC [BUG] Unable to finish Willy's "Juicy Bugs Wanted!" Quest

For some reason, I collect all the bug meat but I'm unable to put it in the barrel. I'm running on the latest version as of writing this (1.5.4), and no matter how many times I click the barrel with the bug meat, it just wont go in. I need help ASAP. The barrel interface thing doesn't show up.
