Hi,
I recently bought stardew valley and started playing it on a single save up until the second season of the first year. Around this point the game started stuttering every 4-5 seconds, making it very difficult to enjoy the game. I found this quite confusing as I have quite a powerful pc and it should be able to run this sort of game, but it seems like others keep trying to find a fix for similar issues. The closest I had to running the game smoothly was the game running normally but having a massive fps drop after every ten seconds, but now it's gone to a more regular stuttering. Does anyone have a solution? I can confirm this issue occurs across multiple save files.

RTX 2070
32GB Corsair 3600 ram
