PC BUG Special Order Board gives Gus' Famous Omelet on first round with no coop built

I reached Fall 2 of Year 1 and one of the first two quests was Gus' Famous Omelet. But I never built a coop - only have one regular barn so far. This is single player in newest version (1.5.5??), no beta.

But why shouldn't it?

The quests will come back if you can't complete them, and they don't check whether you have the ability to complete them (apart from seasonal availability).

If you built a coop on the Monday you get the quest, and buy four chickens when it's completed, I think you would still be able to complete the quest in time.

I thought it was like Island Ingredients, where you wouldn't get the quest option until you have access.

I get what you're saying, except that you DO actually have access... you just chose not to exercise that option so far.
