My experience:
I sold enough crops so that I had earned 25,000g and the cutscene became available, usually you get this cutscene when leaving your house the next morning.
But I went back to my farm from the bottom, I got the cutscene and when it was finished I was at the bottom of my farm but was softlocked into the wall.
Way to reproduce:
Enter the farm from the bottom when having the cutscene unlocked.
