PC [BUG] Prismatic Slime Doesn't Drop Prismatic Jelly If Spawned With Item

I was hosting a multiplayer game with a friend of mine when we went off to find the Prismatic Slime. Upon our first encounter, the Prismatic Slime appeared with an item on it and dropped a Rubber Boot upon death. My friend and I did not see the Prismatic Jelly drop from the slime. After restarting the day, we encountered it again without an item and were able to get the Prismatic Jelly after killing it.

Hi there, I’m currently googling this issue because I just encountered it as well. I’m playing solo, the most recent version of the game on switch, and it dropped a Wood Club. The quest registers that I’ve picked up the “jelly” and to turn it into the wizard, however there is definitely no jelly.
Out of curiosity I tried to give the club to the wizard, but it acts like a regular weapon, so ungiftable.
Just wanted to get the word out that this is still an issue!
