iOS [BUG] Only doing 1 damage to any monster with basic attack

With any weapon i've tried it only allows me to do one damage to the monster but with the wooden mallet charge ability, it does the normal damage. Plz send advice
This is on apple, ipados 14.4 update with the latest mobile update for stardew valley

I have some new information.
the two iridium rings are allowing me to do one damage but with the base attack I can’t do any damage apart from the knockback
