Switch [BUG] Local Co-Op File randomly stops working / being seen by other Co-Op Switch over the past year.

I have two Nintendo Switch units, playing Stardew Valley Local Co-Op exclusively for the past year. we have "never" played co-op through the internet, we don't even have an account to do so.

Both Switches are connected to the same Wi-Fi router. Some days the save file will transmit from the host to the alternate switch, some days it does not. This has been going on for a year. I have tried everything from port forwarding, multiple full cold resets, changing to a different router, etc. Latest example:

Yesterday (5/15/2021), my family had a favorite, year-old, 200 hr save file that the host switch pulled up and the other switch could see and play local co-op perfectly. After playing, we turned off the switch consoles and did nothing else until today.

Today (5/16/2021), we powered on the Switch units and went straight to Stardew Valley. The same 200 hr save file from yesterday was pulled up by the host, but the other switch could NOT see it. To troubleshoot, we immediately tried hosting a one year old 11 hour game file that the other Switch COULD see and play on. We then immediately tried the 200 hr save file again, and the other switch could NOT see it. We have now gone through 12 complete reboots. Still can't co-op see the 200 hr file, but can see the 11 hr one.

Since one of the year-old files works in local Co-Op, but the other only occassionally works over one year - the LAN, router, connectivity, Switch settings, etc. are not the problem. There must be some flag that the game client generates (triggered from somewhere) that prevents the 200 hr save file from being seen in local co-op on some days, but not on others.

I bought a second switch for my other child just so they could play this incredible game co-op with their sibling.

Knowing this is a random hit/miss affair on a daily basis is extremely discouraging. It is heartbreaking as a parent to see a child's disappointment spending an unsuccessful hour trying to connect to their favorite game. It is only because this is such a great game that we keep trying! Historically, we can boot up the game on a different day, and there is a chance everything will work fine the first time....

Please fix this very annoying bug. We have been putting up with it for over 12 months, and judging by other internet comments, we are not the only ones encountering this issue. Thank you.
