I'm married with Penny in this savefile (just in case that's relevant).
Any day where she would go tutor the kids at the museum, and it is raining, the kids stay at home but she goes to the museum regardless. While just going to read to the museum by herself is not out of character for her, there's the problem that a) if talked to at the museum, she comments that "it's nice of you to visit me at work" while she's all alone; and b) she walks to Marnie's Ranch, stopping in both kid's houses, for not reason at all, given that they're not with her.
