PC [BUG] Gunther / Rusty Key Event only after 70 items (multiplayer? bug)

Playing in multiplayer without mods
we reached 60 items in the museum collection and Gunther didn't visit. We then continued to donate items and reached 70 after ... more than a week with plenty sunny days. Gunther visited the morning after reaching 70 items.

Possibly worth noting: We're playing via steam (no mods, no smapi), and the save was created on Windows, but I (the host) have also been playing on Linux.
Iirc I was playing on Windows when we hit 60 donations and the (sunny) day(s) after, but I'm pretty sure we hit 70 while I was hosting on Linux.
