PC [BUG] Game freezes when i change audio source

So i use headphones and sometimes i accidentally unplug them. Then the game freezes, i can't stop it with Alt+F4 and also can't stop it with the task mangager. I can't access any other windows, because the screen will keep the frame of the game when it froze. I have to restart my Computer to access it again.

If I remember right this is an issue with an underlying system that the game is built on

Though having to restart your computer over restarting the game sounds like an issue in and of itself ):
