Hi all, I have found an issue that is slightly frustrating as it is very distracting.
Info:
Walking around, the frame appears to freeze for a split second. It happens about every second while walking. There is no way that my computer can't handle this game as the specs are far above the recommended. The game is playable, but I start getting slightly motion sick after a while due to the jittering.
PC Specifications:
- GTX 1050TI
- 16GB 2666mhz DDR4 Ram
- AMD Ryzen 1600AF
- Stardew is installed on Hard Drive (Not SSD)
Other Info:
- Latest version of Stardew Valley
- Singleplayer World
- Happens every second
- Turning off V-Sync reduces the intensity of the glitch

How I Fixed the Issue With no External Software (Permanently):
This only works if you play Stardew Valley through Steam. I'm using Windows 10, so I'm not sure if it works on Mac or not.
- Go to the launch page for SDV in Steam
- Select the Gear Icon, right next to the information icon and the star.
- Select the general tab
- Under launch options, type: "-threads 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11" (THIS IS WHAT I USE FOR MY 12 THREAD CPU).
- If you have, say, six threads, then you would enter this: "-threads 1,2,3,4,5"
- Or if you have sixteen threads, then you would enter something like this: "-threads 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15"
- You're simply excluding the final thread. (num. of threads - 1)
Temporary Fix:
- While Stardew Valley is running:
- Press CTRL + Shift + ESC (Should open Task Manager)
- Select Details
- Scroll through the list until you find Stardew Valley. Right click it and select "Set Affinity"
- Uncheck "CPU 0"
- Select OK, then right click SDV in the Task Manage once more, go to "Set Priority" and put it to "High"
