PC [BUG] Burglar's Ring Makes Items Drop Twice

I have noticed a couple of times now that equipping the Burglar's ring and getting a rare drop causes it to drop twice. My suspicion was confirmed with Wand of Sparking's new Stardew Valley video where they experienced the same problem. You can see below that I got two Tiger Slime Eggs from just one Tiger Slime. This has happened to me three times now.

No, the burglar ring rolls loot tables twice, making the rare item drops twice as likely. It can very, very, very rarely make the same item drop twice from one mob but it's happening very often to me and luck like this just doesn't exist.
