PC [BUG] Bee House on Ginger Island

There isn't information about this on the wiki. About whether you can use beehives on Ginger island so i tried it. You don't get an error message or anything, it just doesn't register whether you have inventory or not, you are able to pick it up but there is no items in your inventory.

Results: Cannot harvest Wild honey. A text doesn't come up for whether an item was picked up or not. You try picking it up into your inventory,
I haven't tried using any flowers around it yet, I'll try an assortment in the mean time.

Is it winter?

Several people have reported the harvested honey disappears when they are in winter.

Update it is winter that causes it to disappear

I got the same issue. I can harvest honey regularly in spring, summer and fall, but not during winter in ginger island. It shows harvestable but I got nothing when I click it.

1st video shows collecting of honey from bee house but not receiving any honey at all.

2nd video shows pickaxe-ing the bee house because we can't get the honey by normal picking. we get the honey but its wild honey and not the fairy rose honey even though we planted fairy rose around it.

Previously we have harvested fairy rose honey from ginger island before. But it started bugging suddenly.
It is winter in the main island atm. Not sure whether the season has anything to do with it. And also not sure if the season has anything to do with us harvesting wild honey from it when we pickaxe the bee house instead of the fairy rose honey.

I'm having the same issue. I tried hoeing the beehives up and it worked I just didn't get my fairy rose or wild honey, I just got reg honey.

And I thought I was so smart moving my beehives from my main farm to ginger island.

This should be fixed in 1.5.2! Please mention if it's still an issue for you!
