Not sure if it was a bug or a glitch. I am playing on the switch version. I reached the end of year two and got the final tally board for the final day. It then gave me the prompt to name the new baby pig that was born on year 3 morning 1. Then just as the grandfather cutscene started I got the notification that my pickaxe was ready. The cutscene was normal but when it faded out I was left in an empty black screen. I had the clock with the money total and the toolbar below but nothing else besides my character. I could open the menu but could not do anything else. Time clicked so I could have stood there for a day and then fainted. Instead I tried walking around and clicking different tabs on the options/reports before finally turning the game off and restarting. That did the trick but I thought I'd still share.
