In the game you can have a child with you spouse or adopt. but you don't really get to do anything parent-like in my opinion something I would like to see is, having another heart event with your partner like teaching your child its first step's or first words! I believe it would be more fun to actually stick around and help your child grow into a person I also would wish to see are kid being like Jas and Vincent like roaming around town, going with penny to do stuff with and talking with other npc's it would add more onto are child's character instead of being some boring npc. {Sorry if i didn't explain good enough}
