PlayStation Beach scene with Haley frozen

I have experienced being frozen after the scene with Haley at the beach where she loses her bracelet. I cannot get away from the beach, pick up shells or open my bag. Has anyone else experienced this glitch?

Did you return her the bracelet? If not, you need to find it to the right of Elliot's house and return to her. The cutscene hasn't ended, its the interactive part of it.

But when I cannot access my bag, I cannot get the tool to dig. When I first completed the scene at another farm, it ‘ended’ so I could dig at the beach, thus finding her bracelet and giving it to her. Has that changed?

No, you don’t need to dig. It’s laying open, you just need to pick it up.
