Windows Banana tree bug

I planted banana sapling on my Ginger Island farm around 40 days ago. Despite meeting all criteria (planted in the centre of 3x3 square, adjacent tiles kept clean from rocks, weeds all the time) it fails to grow fruit. Attaching print screen with the tree location. So far I got 2 messages "your banana tree failed to grow bananas" at random timing (without even timing intervals). Could you please help me understand what is the reason the tree doesn't produce bananas? Thank you!

I haven't experienced this directly but some people have mentioned that if there's something buried in the soil in that 8 square ring around the base of your Tree, then it could fail to allow the tree to grow or grow it's first Banana. It doesn't feel like this is the case here but you could try hoeing up those 8 spots and then pickaxe them afterwards to clear the tilled spots and then see if you get your yummy nanas the next day.
