Bakery

I think it's difficult to change Pelican Town as many mods would be broken. It would be easier to have a new side with new stores, as is already possible with Ridgeside Village, see

Anyway I like to have new possibilities and also would like to see more tourists.

Absolutely love your bakery idea for Stardew Valley! It would add a charming dimension to the community and attract both locals and tourists. Supplying wheat, corn, and introducing oats as a new crop sounds like a tasty expansion. A wonderful suggestion for enhancing the in-game experience!
If only there was someone that could transform it into a mod.just saying

I’m the only farmer and thus the only one in town that gives Robin, Clint and Marnie any real business so really that leaves Pierre’s, Joja Mart and Gus’s Stardrop Saloon as the only real shops for the town of 30 something. Seems like another store or two would be cool, but for only 30 something residents I doubt that would occur IRL. Still would be fun though…😀

I've wanted a Bakery for ages :) Love your suggestions for items that would be sold there.

I'd like to see it as @Freizeitfarmer suggested as a shop in a new locality in the game e.g. like Ridgeside.

Or another way to add it to a future update without breaking mods would be to have it inside an existing town building e.g. inside the Saloon in a large separate room.

It could be run by an NPC but also give an option for the farmer to be able to cook there/work there too as part of a new Baker skill.

It would be a good way to introduce new options into the game in existing features e.g. new NPC's, skills, meals to cook, and new crops to grow to supply the Bakery.

Just love this idea :)

So we have to look for new doors like with the 1.5 upgrade at Willys.

But just remember Freizeitfarmer, Willy owns a fish and tackle shop

It would be nice if he could own a fish and chips shop as well

And Linus could be the one that owns the bakery

Just a suggestion

No offence

I don’t know if it would make sense for Linus, but maybe Jodi or Caroline? Jodi is clearly not content with being a stay at home mom, and I feel like it would be a nice addition once her husband comes home and she is no longer solely responsible for the kids.

Jodi and Caroline would be a good idea for the bakery.but does Jodi and Caroline work together in the bakery?

Im just asking

Loving the idea of Jodi and Caroline running the bakery/cafe!

I wonder if Linus can still get involved somehow - maybe by collecting forage for the bakery items like salmonberries and blackberries, or being an apprentice baker? That's if he wanted to, as I know he says he's peaceful living on his own too.

If there should be a bakery (a good idea), there should also be a butcher to buy meats from and cook dishes with it. I mean, come on. We can catch and cook fish, but no hearty steak or juicy bacon burger for a hungry farmer? That needs to change.
