Adding the ability to carry the children at any age, but the area you can carry them is limited. As babies, you can only carry them around the house and can sit down with them. At stage 2 and 3 its the same. But at Stage 4, you could carry the child around the town but you cannot take them to the mines, sewers, adventurers guild, calico dessert, or fern islands. Just a thought :)
