Auto-grabber and Void Egg left by the witch

I know the Wiki says the auto-grabber "automatically harvests all products produced by Coop animals when placed in a coop." but it does not, as it turns out, grab void eggs left behind by the witch. I think it should. It just so happens, I sold all my chickens and started raising rabbits (they often come down with leprosy and lose their feet), since I have ostriches for mayo.

Autograbber picks the items from the animals themselves. The witch triggers a special event and leaves the egg behind. If you hatch the void chicken and raise it to the point of it being able to lay eggs, then your tool will perform its task properly.

The witch is not a coop animal. I love to get one early game, put it in an incubator, and use the egg from my new chicken to make the mayonnaise for the Goblin. Late game eggs from the witch get fried and served to Rasmodius.
