iOS Auto attack selects SCYTHE instead of WEAPON (April 2025) - Video included

Hello! Reporting a bug I just discovered: icloud link

1. Version 1.6.15 24354
2. ipad pro + ps5 controller
3. can’t seem to upload save files but icloud link has recording of the issue
4. after upgrading scythe to iridium, game auto selects it as a weapon when fighting slimes on ginger island. perhaps when close proximity to bushes and trees? no idea. never happened before upgrade.

I almost died to slime today which would have been devastating … to my ego. Hope the video helps! Pls lemme know if you need more info.

What happens when you select a weapon? My game always selects the last weapon (or scythe) I used, and sometimes it does switch to the scythe. It also does that with the lower level scythes, or with random weapons I found in the mines.

When I select a weapon, it keeps auto switching to the scythe. In the video, I’m manually switching to the sword.

I never figured out a pattern for when the game chooses to use scythe as a weapon.

I am having the same issue. Noticed after upgrading to iridium scythe. I have noticed it in the mines and hardwood forest when attacking slime or sprites. I am also using a controller.

Could moving the scythe out of the hotline help? Or does it pick it even from there?
(of course you have to remember to move it there before entering the area)
