Issue AT textures not showing up or displaying as squares

I created an AT mod but some users are reporting that some of the textures are not showing up, or that they are showing up as tiny squares. Some have posted screenshots of the bugs and their SMAPI logs but I can't seem to figure out what is causing the issue. Does anyone know what might be causing it so I can fix it?

I had placed some flooring tiles under my house, and when I tried to change the house texture with the paint bucket, it was giving me the textures for the flooring tiles as tiny squares rather than the textures for the house. Removing the flooring tiles under the house let me see and change the house texture.

Thank you so much! This seemed to be the issue for some of the people. I've now posted a PSA so people can avoid this.
