Any way to roll back the version of the game to 1.5 temporarily ?

Any way to do so ? and if it is doable, without breaking anything ?

I am unable to progress at all since the new update because the game crashed every time i go to sleep so if there is a way to rollback the version until there is a fix please let me know

No but I found a fix to my issue, someone pointed out that the fact that my pet had the same name as an NPC for some reason would crash the game, i changed my petname in the save file and it now work normally

Good to hear, if you did want to swap back though there is a beta in the game which allows playing on 1.5.6, the specifics are in the 1.6 patch notes.
