All unique items in one play through?

Oh really? I could've sworn mine was saved, ill check that as i completed it and could've sworn i had em still. Ill check it within an hour as am away from console.

additional words: i am intrigued about the calico eggs, they are NOT easy to get and often times you miss the purpose of trying to get em. For example, i had a villager selling something day one two different stalls that were good and lets say i wanted something from the calico vendor by the questionnaire fellow.

The eggs required for those alone is.. a tough egg to crack It would be better if eggs can be saved, annually. Less grinding with RNG and such as. So being able to hold on to em still, wouldnt be a bad thing for me if you know how. But otherwise, i painfully clone the eggs to get what i want or need.

Following up with this- true enough, my prismatic jelly and ectoplasm has disappeared I even went as far to save some on offline farmhands, on an online one and some for myself. Super sad to see i cannot save these for collection/displays and decor work.. currently hopelessly hoping i stashed it somewhere else but seems like @PerfectionWhaleFarm was right about these two items.

Wondering if there's some way to get them kept, stashing in jumino chest? Or some way of transferring through lost&found? Some ways..

I believe the easiest (only?) way to save any ephemeral item that disappears after a quest is to place it in a Sign. You can’t move or alter the Sign or the item will be lost but hey, you got it!

I might need to set aside a Sign museum for these temporary unobtanium items on the Farm but maybe not even outside as I think lightning strikes may dislodge Signs.

Shed Museum is the new farm meta.

Ah yep yep, I did the same initially lol, I tried to see if dynamic seed swap did anything, or putting it on tables did anything - I pulled many things, but alas I concede defeat to the tricky Wizard who must take these awesome goodies away from me forever );

I have a few other ideas, but I stopped trying because if CA considers them bugs, they will just be patched up anyways haha, but I wish to acquire these cool items forever
Lew's idea is what I did with Pierre's Stocklist in Whaler before it disappeared forever haha. It's not exactly the same, but it's a cute memento before it disappears I guess

The Calico Egg thing was purely accidental, I'm not even sure if what I'm describing is what actually happened but when I boot up my other profiles on the same save, which had some Eggs leftover, I saw that they are still in their inventory so they didn't disappear. I suspect (but could not confirm) it is because the farm help got those eggs during the day of, disconnected before the day ends and then never came back before the Desert Festival period ends? Regardless, I now have some eggs in the chest after the festival.

I like this idea but i do struggle accepting a sign display over an actual display. I for the life of me cannot understand why we cannot keep it like that. Im sadden we currently cant (as a way doesnt seem to be discovered yet, if any) display our weapons, tools, rings like you can on tables or such as. Signage works, but like you said- once its moved, broken, or anything but its original place, the item on it is gone. I wouldnt worry if it dropped said item, instead, but yeah..

Still currently trying ways, cause for starters- i somehow lost my weapon and dont know how i did. Had to get a new one but that incident has since then gotten me wondering if i could "lose" my weapon somehow, perhaps there IS a way to..

I can suggest to you some ideas I had, but I won't be trying because CA has already done many updates to patch them out each time and I'm sure even now it probably isn't gonna work at all:
1. Put it in Auto-Grabber by replacing an Animal produce with it (Not even sure if it's possible)
2. Dropping it on the floor and see if you can get it back again the next day?
3. Putting it in someone else's fridge, Qi's box, etc. while those quests are active?
4. Putting it in a Chest before Desert Festival starts in the desert and end the quest during Desert Festival
5. (When console gets the update) fetch it from the Secret Woods L&F?
6. Petition to CA to add them officially in Game Suggestions

Huh I wonder if this is similar to the Calico Eggs because that is what happened to those. I recall pre1.6, whatever you mentioned for Pierre's Stocklist definitely did not work for me. I had a save created just to test that theory out a while ago (and other methods too). At this point I won't risk it though because I don't really care for Pierre's year round produces.

At this point, it's gonna take no less than the Witch personally coming over and demanding the Wizard to return them to you to get them , but I'm curious about your progress so please continue to update if you find anything.

The only reason I did not include them is because even after cloning they disappear when you complete the quest, rendering the cloning useless. That isn't the case with all the other ones above (unless they changed Ectoplasm and Prismatic Jelly to stay permanently this update? I highly doubt that).

It was able to be kept on older patches of 1.5 as well as all 1.5 patches of mobile, I have the items myself on my mobile save

Ah fair, actions done before patches are fixed will remain yep - I still have Weeds, Stardrop (until I discarded it), etc.
As a console player - at least starting from when I got to the update until now, I have not gotten preserving the aforementioned two Wizard items to show up, but I started 1.5 update late!

This thread makes my head spin just reading it lol! But if you have that drive, determination, willpower I say go for it. But if it becomes too tedious just sit back relax and have fun. As @Lew Zealand continuously and wisely reminds us “there’s always tomorrow in Stardew Valley.” So point is if it turns into a chore and makes you frustrated it’s no longer the point of Stardew. Relax, have fun, enjoy the ride.

Penny has a choice of 3 different beds but I think you can only get one 14 event per spouse per save so if you divorce Penny, memory wipe, and remarry her, you don't get another 14 so 2 bed options will remain unobtainable.
