Thank you! It's down to 8 now after getting the tie dye shirt from 25 treasure totems and another shirt from Sandy, but I'm also missing 5 hats which are all from the desert festival and the tight pants.

Since you're a clothing expert: may I ask the best way to get a mushroom cap?
Right now I've got 13 mushroom trees ready to chop, but I've reloaded about 15 times and it's just giving me the same stuff over and over.
Is the hat not a true 1% random drop, or is it tied to daily rng or something?

I'm not sure but if it works like other Clothing drops, it's random each time you chop down the Mushroom Tree and not set by your game seed or by the start of that day.

It should be resetting every day and you should eventually get the cap... I had planted around 200 trees for fun and got one eventually iirc

i found this in another thread where you can see every clothing item in stardew since 1.6, it doesnt say if you can make the clothing items but its still helpful! hope it helps. https://mateusaquino.github.io/stardewids/

So after resetting the same day 40-50 times and getting nothing, I progressed the game and checked them each day, and after 3 in-game days I found not 1, but 2 on the same day! So I am assuming the chance for them to drop is set at the beginning of a day? It's really hard to tell with this sort of thing.

Bitta follow-up here for completionist's sake.
I snooped my save file with Mouseypounds' Stardew Predictor to confirm how Sandy's Shop works and yes it seems that almost everything is available from The Oasis if you choose not to go the Treasure Totem route (especially if you don't have enough resources to craft them!). The only things missing from Sandy's Shop are the 3 Rare drops mentioned earlier:
Everything else will eventually show up if you're diligent and patient enough to check every day (after getting the Desert Obelisk as the Bus isn't worth the wait and daily 500g). She's even open for the Feast of the Winter Star!

Added another shirt which has 2 options: undyeable White Shirt you get from Character creation and Tailoring Wool (dyeable Wood/Fiber version was already listed).
How to get it section is about 70% done now, continuing to update item descriptions to match Color and Accent to their Tailoring descriptions.
Edit: Done now! Will add this to the Guides Section.
