Yeah, it's best not to promote AI generated content such as text and images. I know it's just for fun for you, but the greater picture is heavy and bleak. Best not to dabble in that.

Yeah the generated images are uncanny valley to me, kinda like you took a comic/graphic novel or 3D animated person and tried to IRL them. Exaggerated versions of people who don't look real.

It's twofold with a source like Stardew because due to the inherently very undetailed pixel art, people construct their own ideas about what each NPC looks like, and usually add littles traits/characteristics that fit their mental model of the character, but which maybe aren't fully supported in game (as it gives very little proper description about characters beyond their also pixelated profile sprites).

AI then accentuates one particular look for them, which means it looks off for everyone else with a slightly different idea of what they look like, on top of them AI just making them look inhuman to begin with
