Many no-vendor challenges use Mixed Seeds to generate your initial crops of every season. Perhaps that might work for you?

That worked great for my first year. I bought seeds for Y2 at the winter market since that vendor is neither Pierre nor Joja. I thought it might ruin the challenge, but in all honesty, having to plan the year's crops without the luxury of buying seeds in season on a whim is a bit daunting.

Well I decided that a bouquet is not a seed nor a downstream effect of a seed, so Schmookie is dating Emily, and dang it happened fast.

But I accidentally bought the full stock of bouquets, 90 of 'em. Sold the remaining 89 through the shipping bin, but dang! I can fantasize that I've disrupted the supply chain. Maybe when Marnie next complains that Lewis won't make their relationship official, I can soothe her with the thought that there are no bouquets he can give her.

Emily and Schmookie went camping, and never mind "bear's knowledge," the payoff for the maple syrup was amazing. Schmookie gave her an emerald and she started going on about strong wood magic. Well anyway, farming is going well, seed makers really are at the heart of all this.

In the race for the Duck Feather, Emily needs a mermaid's pendant, the cat needs another half-heart worth of petting, and Pig Lady needs to go to the duck pond in the Gotoro empire.

Schmookie's married to Emily now, and the cat loves him. Hopefully pig lady doesn't get detained by the Gotoro authorities for duck smuggling, but we shall see.

There are 8 seed makers now, so hopefully i can save seed for next year's summer and fall crops, and need to buy less at the winter market.

Schmookie is the proud owner of a Greenhouse and one duck feather away from CC completion.

Razzie's ex has been slacking on her cursing the countryside duties, leaving poor Schmookie to have to buy a void egg from Krobus for his upcoming smash-and-grab job. Meanwhile, the boat got fixed and Birdie's scavenger hunt is complete except for presentation of the pirate's locket to Birdie.

So a lot has happened. Schmookie and Emily are expecting their first kid. Grandpa has confessed that his heart will always remain in the valley (I think that the Lewis Statue is the horcrux). GI is mostly open, and Schmookie has just completed the return of the legendaries quest from Qi.

But he faces a conundrum: Pierre's prime produce. Should he do it for the opportunity to rub Pierre's nose in what a dirtbag thing it is to do, or refrain on principle, since doing it would be participating in the drama?
