A lost save

Yall, i was in year four and i completed the cc and got to island and i was married completed cave had krobus. Yet while i was attempting to transfer my save from one nitendo to another, i lost the save. I did whatever i could but now i have to restart, i wish it was like the gsme where we could exit and rejoin like we didnt accidently delete sum valuable

I honestly don't know a lot about switch so I can't offer any additional suggestions, but that's really unfortunate, sorry to hear you lost your save
