Hi! I wanted to just do a big ole rant on all my favorite historical figures because I'm a massive dork on all that :3
The first one is Ea-nāṣir, the Mesopotamian copper merchant lol, I've drawn the figure that's used to represent him a bunch of times and I learned how to write his name in Akkadian, along with the word for copper. I think he's so cool even though there's not much known about him, but the fact he kept and displayed all his complaint tablets is so petty and amazing to me lol.
I already ranted on the Bocksten Man on my profile posts so I'll just give him a shoutout here because I love him and more people should too :D
Then there's Genghis Khan, which I guess a lot of people like him but yeah he's on here too. He lowered the CO2 levels from all the people he killed, amazing lol. And I mean, he's just cool all around. The Mongol Empire was awesome and usually pretty chill when it came to taking over other places so double yay!
I haven't gotten to read any of his stuff but I also love Diogenes, what I've read about him is hilarious and awesome, and I hope I can find his work someday, although I haven't heard much on them :P
And finally I love King Henry VIII, a little unpopular, I feel like most people think he's a gross, fat jerk (which he was towards the end of his life) but he was really cool. I know far too much about him because I did a whole research project on him lol. Apparently he was very fit and handsome (that's what my sources said) but he got gross after a jousting accident :P And my all time favorite wife of his is Anne of Cleves, even though they were married for not even two days.
