I wish there was a way to get 10 hearts with everyone (for perfection) without dating them. Maybe if we could like somehow choose between romantic hearts and friendship hearts past 8 or something?

Also I think if you could matchmake bachelors that would be pretty cool!

You can reach 8 hearts with all the singles and never have to date anyone, this fulfills perfection requirements.

This is part of the great game design of Stardew.

But butbut I got this thing where those hearts over there don't looka like these hearts over here. It bugs me a little. Sometimes. I forget about it when I don't open that panel but then I open it and remember and...

I sorta need it to look like this.

But I kinda wish there was a more platonic way to do it like @kittykat0930 mentions. Instead I restrict myself to dating everyone to get the 10 (even Elliott and Leah who like to play keep-away!) and then guiltily marry Emily.

We all have our personal version of 100% Perfection in the game, which differs from CA's in-game version in that it omits ridiculous things like uncovering almost 11 dozen hidden Walnuts and discovering 3 dozen Notes & Scraps and Crafting 8 different Braziers (none of which even fit!). My 100% Perfection is not max with everyone.

It's 10 with everyone.

Yesss! Like if you could prompt them to go talk to their crush! That'd be so cute!
The closest to it I've seen is nudging Clint to talk to Emily, which isn't bad, it just could be better if it could lead to something!
I wanna be platonic besties with Abigail without having to brutally friendzone her

I think matchmaking them would be so cool! I have so many ships/headcannons.

My idea was after getting married, everyone opens up for getting 10 hearts, whether or not you were dating them.

Could be an option, though a few of the spouse 10 heart events are very dating-related (penny, emily, etc.), so they'd need a total overhaul for very little practical benefit.

Like we still get 'close' with them like you do with any other npc, it's not like the last 2 hearts make any big difference

While true, those events could just get ignored. While there are a lot of them, I still want to go to a Tunnelers game with Shayne and ride Sebastian's motorcycle.

I wish we could tho. I'm not super into chopper bikes I'm more of a naked or sports bike guy but his motorcycle is cool. I wonder how he got it?

Probably a trip to Zuzu city. Though it would be cool if after getting 10 hearts, it becomes a horse variant.
