Hey guys. With ConcernedApe dropping that tweet hinting at what we’ll see in 1.7, it made me think about how far he’s brought Stardew Valley from where it was even a few years ago. I remembered watching his video showing all the early builds of the game and milestones he reached at every step of the development even into the updates post 1.0.
We’re now approaching 1.7 and as excited as I am for an official release date, I wish it would also include the option to select which post 1.0 build of the game you want to play, when starting a new farm. I’m also not talking about mods (if those that make this possible already exist) but to simply add this to vanilla Stardew Valley as an option for those that want to truly appreciate all the versions of the game that we’ve had, or just prefer an older build.
