Switch 1.6.9 Lagging on Switch

Hey,

I’ve noticed some lagging with 1.6 on switch since the update.

This mostly happens when walking around but it’s also happens during the fishing mini game and freezes the green bar.

I play single player in English. Started a new save on the forest farm.

Same thing is happening to me. It lags every 3 seconds or so. Playing has become less enjoyable ;(

I would love to confirm if there is another (possibly simpler?) way, but so far I have only been able to remove pet hats by clicking on the pets as if to pet or interact while "holding" (hovering over, really) a different hat in inventory. The hat they have on will pop off for you to collect on the first click, and the new hat won't be applied until the second click, so if you stop after once then the pet should be hat-free.
