Windows 1.6.14 tapped green rain trees in greenhouse

Green rain tree (giant fern type), in the greenhouse has stopped producing tapped product (fiddlehead fern) during winter. Other tapped trees are fine. Tried removing & replacing tapper, no change. (Will try and update if tapper resumes working when the game rolls around to spring.)

Version 1.6.14 build 24317
Windows 7 Pro, no mods.

I couldn't add a tapper on mine in winter, I think maybe it doesn't produce in winter maybe? Not sure if on purpose. It grew just fine when I planted the seed on Day 1, but never let me add a tapper. Once Spring1 started, no problem. Tapper added and Fern produced.
