I play the adorable Stardew Valley with a 9-year-old child. And that's what I notice. He is not at all interested in being a farmer, digging in the ground, growing vegetables and fruits, caring for cows and chickens, and generally not understanding the communication of adult characters with each other, the need to care for and create a family. But he loves fishing, quests and mining. That's what I thought. Why not send it to ...a school , a big city school full of children. Let him "work" there, taking tests in all subjects from grades 1 to 12, and it is informative and useful) . The playground can be complemented by a grand amusement park, again in the city..

well, I would say, Stardew Valley actually is not that suitable for 9-year old kid. Apart from the reasons you mentioned, it is too early for a kid to understand adults' love and romance. What is your opinion?

No, he really, really liked the game) He's waiting for version 1.7) Since Stardew Valley is multi-leveled, there's a lot to do here. what attracts children. But he doesn't dive deep into adult dialogues, calls the mayor's shorts cowards, and doesn't set up a house or farm) In my understanding, the children's segment can be increased by a school in a big city, with real exams and bullies.
