secret notes

Hello, I've seen other posts that were similar to my question about no notes being dropped in the game. I haven't found a solution that might suit my particular situation. I play on the first gen switch. I assure you I have the magnifying glass. I've done the little song and dance with the...

Year 1 winter, have notes and magnifying glass, but no tab where the notes are listed. I do have a character in year 8 on the same iPad with no difficulty reading the notes. game version v1.6.15 build 24354 iOS 26.2.1 I hope I attached the right zipfiles to the right post.

I have the magnifying glass and was able to open several notes. But all of a sudden, it stopped working for me. Shut down, updated, restarted and still not able to open them.

Since the landscape is different are the notes different? and where are the spots to dig?

I was running home from the mines in a big hurry one night and dug up a worm tile with a secret note in it. Really, really being in a rush I left it there figuring I'd come get it later. I didn't end up coming back for it for a few days and in the mean time had found several other secret notes...
