lost tools

My tools keep disappearing, started a new save hoping that would solve my issue but my axe disappeared. There is an axe in the mayors house but every time I grab it, it pops back into lost and found endlessly. I can’t get into the lost forest because of not having the axe so I don’t know what to...

I’ve lost my iridium pickaxe. I’ve searched every single chest and I cannot find it. I haven’t received one in the mail so theoretically I still have it I just can’t find it. Does any one have any suggestions? I’m in year five of this run and don’t want to start over.

Help! I've lost my scythe, watering can, hoe, axe, and fishing pole. I put them in a chest in the storage shed and now they've disappeared. How do I recover them?

The watering can and pickaxe have not been returned by Clint when upgraded. Really frustrating because we've got 85 hours invested in the farm! We can probably manage without the watering can but definitely not without the pickaxe. Any help gratefully received. Thanks.
