Just updated stardew valley to the latest xbox version (as of 24/12/24), and on every occasion I find a chest whilst fishing the game crashes, and I lose the whole days worth of progress. Can this be patched?

I believe this is another 1.6 bug I've discovered. I switched my fishing profession to pirate and the rate I'm pulling treasure boxes is not any better at all than it was before switching. I am pulling up a box every 1 in 12 catches.

The game crashes near the end of the day when Player 2 does a major action (Eating something, placing something, breaking something) It has happened twice now after a full day of productivity. While fishing as well the casting noise distorts and sounds like a UFO flying overhead.

When in multi player on switch it started as whenever the second player is fishing and cast it makes a terrible staccato vibrating noise. It happens regardless of fishing location. After a few in game days it stopped happening to the second player and started happening to the first.

when the 2nd player is fishing on split screen, the cast sound glitches and makes a buzzing sound instead of the increasing/decreasing woop sound. this has only happened since updating to 1.6 and we have 90 hours on this save, so likely a result of the update.

I saw that the fish smoker pretty much doubles your sell value of the fish you catch. I tried smoking some of my purple stared sea cucumber and it only increases the value by 1 gold. This happened with other fish too. How come?

In the end game, when you have all upgrades, there is very few fish that is still "hard" to catch (I only can think octopus and Ice Pip), so I think would cool if we could use the boat from Willy to do a fishing trip to the middle of the ocean, with new and harder fish, like a sharks, swordfish...
