calico desert

Has the desert trader been considered to become a full villager like Sandy? She could be a bit of a nomad type character like Linus (but more adventurous, less hermit). I know that SDV is likely not getting any major updates, but this is one that would make the game feel more complete to me.

The good thing is I was able to get a lot of algae which was my goal.

So, I just unlocked the bus to the calico desert and I realized after two attempted visits that my game would crash when I would go to bed before it could save after visiting. Is there a patch for this, or something to fix it?

So I was looking at the furniture item "Calico Falls" and got a great idea. What if the waterfall depicted in the painting was accessible. A small path on the side of the desert could take you took a desert river and waterfall. During Saturday you could catch the Traveling Cart there in boat...

I've had all these kegs out in the desert for a looooong time, but now a bunch of them have vanished, as if an NPC is walking around out there? Did Sandy go to the Fair or something? There are kegs missing along the bottom and up the side, and also diagonally over towards the Desert Trader.
