Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Music Replacer (UPDATE)

Content Patcher Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Music Replacer (UPDATE) 2.6

Important UPDATE! 2.5 and up
If you installed this mod before, please replace the old one with the new, updated version. All previous files suffer from what I've called the "Rainy Day Paradox" and resulted in Stardew Valley panicking when shop music loaded (Saloon, Museum, etc.) and caused it to either completely break or use vanilla tracks as fallback. All files have been updated to include the Rainy Day Paradox fix applied. ADDITIONALLY anyone who uses the OoT gerudo variant of the pack that wants more Ocarina of Time, I now have a dedicated OoT Music Replacer Mod that covers all of the same tracks as this one. Keep in mind that these tracks are from a game made in 1998 designed to run on a 32mb cartrige and 8mb ram, so there are much fewer tracks than Twilight Princess and few over a minute in length, so they will get repetitive. True OoT players won't notice though ;): Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Music Replacer

This website WILL NOT let me direct link the files here, so please visit my nexus mods page where it actually lets me host the 300mb of music per file lol: Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Music Replacer (UPDATE)

2.6 update
Adds Link's house music to all versions of the player home without the need for an external mod. It's fully included and functional with just the mod itself (either OoT or Twilight Princess). If you still want to use their mod, feel free, as you can still download the assets folder for the mod in the archive of this post

2.5.1 update
Loops Marnie and Robin's shops to remove the annoying intro each time it repeats. May eventually do this with other songs its just a pain to loop it perfectly. Also replaced the desert music in the Ocarina of Time Desert music version of the file to match the actual game rather than the Smash Bros. version.

Known Bugs
Currently the minigame music sucks (ironic given the game I'm porting the music from has some of the best and plentiful minigame music out there). It just doesn't loop and I mixed them up. I will try to get this fixed eventually (late June early July at the earliest).

Latest Fixes
Improved the music in the ice levels of the mines being far too intense (replaced Boss Battle #3 First Half as Frost_Ambient with Snowpeak, 52.ogg)

Description
Bring the sweeping, atmospheric magic of Hyrule to Pelican Town! This mod carefully overhauls the Stardew Valley soundtrack, replacing the vanilla music with the beautiful, mysterious, and cozy tracks from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Whether you are farming to the rhythm of Hyrule Castle Town, exploring the deep lava mines to the heavy beats of Goron Mines, or spending a cold winter day listening to Snowpeak, this mod maps the perfect Zelda track to Stardew's distinct seasonal and atmospheric sounds. There is also a variant that is exactly the same as the main one, but replaces the Twilight Princess Gerudo Desert music with "Gerudo Valley" from Ocarina of Time.

Main features
  • Complete Overhaul: Replaces over 40 distinct music tracks in the game.
  • Seasonal & Location Immersion: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter themes have been swapped for fitting Twilight Princess counterparts, alongside music for the Secret Woods, Calico Desert, Stardrop Saloon, and the Museum.
  • Deep Dungeon Dives: The Mines have been completely revamped. Earth levels play the Forest Temple theme, frozen floors play Lakebed Temple and Snowpeak Ruins, and the lava floors play the Goron Mines track.
  • Festivals & Events: Custom tracks for the Moonlight Jellies, Flower Dance, Spirit's Eve maze, Night Market, and more.
  • Lore-Friendly: I specifically avoided replacing "diegetic" music (music played by the characters in-game, like Abigail's flute solo or Sam's band practice) so the immersion of character cutscenes isn't broken.

Installation instructions
  • Ensure you have SMAPI and Content Patcher installed.
  • Download the zip file from the files tab.
  • Extract the folder.
  • Drag and drop the extracted TwilightPrincessMusic folder directly into your Stardew Valley "Mods"
    folder.
  • Launch the game via SMAPI and enjoy the music!

Requirements
To use this mod, you will need to install the following beforehand:
  • SMAPI (Stardew Modding API)
  • Content Patcher (by Pathoschild)
  • Additional Info
    If you need to remove or change a song, search the content.json file for the song you wish to remove or change, for example:
"title_night": {
"ID": "title_night",
"FilePaths": [
"{{AbsoluteFilePath: assets/02.ogg}}"
],
"Category": "Music",
"Looped": true,
"StreamedVorbis": true
Next, search the assets folder for the target song, and simply drop in your own custom .ogg file. Ensure that it has the same name, and it will replace it just fine.
If you are REMOVING a song (for example, if you dislike the menu song (MainTheme), then you must find the song like before, but this time, remove the listing from content.json as well as the corresponding .ogg file in the assets folder.

If you have any questions or reccomendations please ask in the comments. I will try my best to check it as often as possible and try to answer them all.

This mod is completely open source and you are totally able to use any files to create a custom mod for both personal use and to be shared. Just make sure you change the manifest.json file so it has your own information lol
