Xbox Connection failed help me please

I am trying to play stardew with a friend that has the same console same game version and we both have good internet connections but when trying to join no matter what we resart or change on setting we are met with a long connecting screen followed by connection failed. All I wanna do is play stardew with my friends :( someone healp

I'm glad it's not just me. My sister and I play every weekend and this is the 2nd weekend we were unable to play. Hopefully it's all sorted out soon.
