What the heck... something is wrong with me, I finished it already. Welp if it makes you all happy, here it is!!!

Chapter 6, The Newbie?! ??? Perspective

I've decided. It's ???’s perspective.

Start

W-where am I? All I remember is falling out of the tree! That never happens, only when someone surprises me…

I remember now! The new farmer started climbing up and I fell off! Wait, did they bring me here? What even is this place, their house? It's pretty ugly.

“It's not very decorated, I know.” A voice says from behind me. I whip my head around and see it's the farmer! So he's a boy…

“You know, I wasn't surprised to see you up there. Penny has been staring at me everyday. So what's your name anyways?”

“...” I don't say anything, too scared of him and scared he will make fun of my English. “Do you not know my language but can understand me?”

*??? Nods feverously

“Ahhh, okay that makes sense. I haven't seen you around town. Do you live here?

*??? Shakes head

“Here, paper so you can write it out. Tell me your name?

*??? Writes it

“Krobus huh.” “Y-Yes” “YOU CAN SPEAK?!”

*Writes on paper

I didn't talk before because I have bad English and I thought you would make fun of me. I'm sorry. I live in the sewers all by myself. This person told me to watch you. I don't know why. You don't seem all that special.

“Well thanks a lot for the insult, but I don't know what would be so interesting. Maybe this person likes Penny too? If that's it, it could be any boy…”

“Well, I-i think you an-and Penny belong to-togeth-together.” I stuttered out, still embarrassed.

“Thank you very much! I-i love her, I think. Should I propose soon? NO I need to wait until we have even gone on a date!”

“What's all this about a girl?” I look over at a girl, she doesn't look like anyone in town though…

“Anyway, pardon me, but my name is Kiara and I recently moved her. Just yesterday! I live in this small cabin over here!”

*Points to a stone cabin

“Ah, well my name is David and I moved here about… 3 weeks ago! Welcome to Stardew Valley.”

*He smiles

“U-um my name i-is Krobus. I li-live nearby!”

*Tries to smile

“Aww you two must be best friends already,” Kiara claims. Well she is very outgoing. Pretty much the opposite of David.

“... What is this girl's name anyway? I'm sure she'll be a lucky girl if she
has you!”

*Innocent (?) smile

Penny and Kiara's perspectives

Penny's perspective

I haven't seen David in a while… I wonder what is going on. Hopefully he's here at the flower dance today!

I hope he will ask me to dance, I don't want to dance with my best friend again. I have been dancing with Sam since we were 10!

I'm still surprised that David didn't win against Abigail in the egg festival. Well Abby is the 5 time champion so far, and counting! (Did I do this saying wrong 💀)

*Walks to the flower dance area

*Sam walks over

“Hey Penny! Wanna dance together again this year?” “Mhm, maybe.” Staring into the distance, she replies, bored and waiting for David.

Hm, I wonder where he is. Wait, why am I worrying?! I don't, I just like him as a friend, right? Aaaaand and I know that's not true.

I get a flutter in my heart when I see him, or hear his voice. I can't be falling in love! Pam is going to be so mad ughhhhh.

I just need to stop and think about this. I-If anyone else tries to get close, I don't know how I will react at this point…!

“Penny! Heyy!” David yells from in front of her, and she realizes she spaced out. There's the little flutter.

“Sorry, I spaced out for a moment. Just excited I guess!” “Hey um, Penny,” David nervously says, “do you, maybe wanna, dance together?”

Kiara's

“--wanna, dance together?” I heard David say that, while flipping his hair, talking to a girl next to him. She's blushing. I should've known it wouldn't be me.

I'm not special like her. Then again, I just came here two days ago, so he doesn't like me yet. For me though, love at first sight.

Now, I bet that girl just likes him. Not like me! I'm in love. But… what's stumping me is— does he love her? 😔

“YES! oh sorry, I meant, sure!” I overhear, which makes my blood boil. David comes over to me after she says that, “We can dance together next year, right?”

“Yes, of course!” I say enthusiastically.

“Okay, good. I didn't want you to get left out again.” My heart skips a beat as he says those words.

It's almost like, it's just me and him, standing together alone, with no one else getting between our love.

I shake my head, getting me out of that daze, just barely catching the last of his sentence, “--over to Penny now, bye Kiara!”

“Oh… bye!”

*After talking to Penny, he walks over to the mayor to start the event.

*Flower dance is over

Well, time to get to bed. I think I'll take a walk before I do though.

“WHAAAAAAA?!” I scream, seeing something in the tree. It looks like it has a brown hood, and no face?!

Wow, Penny’s in the middle of a love… square?
Sam’s attracted to Penny
Penny and David (first farmer) are attracted to each other.
Kiara (new farmer, like on multiplayer?) is attracted to David.

and then there’s the question of Pam and Penny’s relationship (will Penny get free of Pam? Will Pam see the error of her ways?)
And whatever is going on with Krobus (why is he watching David? And can they be friends?)

<fans self>Those are plenty of plot threads to work through/tie up.
