Moving items

Hi
I’ve recently upgraded the farmhouse and can’t move some of the objects I had placed in the old one. Some, like the oil maker, moved easily but others such as the mini fridge and some decorative items don’t seem to want to move at all. Any suggestions for how to sort this? Thank you.

There's different controls for picking up furniture and other equipment. Stuff like the oil makers and chests can be picked up with the tools. Furniture, like the mini fridge and decorative items, is picked up without tools, and controls may be a bit tricky depending on which system you're playing on.

E.g. if you're using tap to move on mobile, you have to press down on the furniture while standing far enough away so you don't just run over there...

If you tell us which system you use I'm sure there will be somebody here who knows how to pick up furniture.

Then what I said for mobile should apply: try standing far away and hold down on the objects you want to move.

Do you have to empty the fridge first? I know you have to empty chests to move them (there's a way to kick a full chest sideways one square at a time while button mashing but it only helps if you've got a space to stand on the side opposite where you want it)

You do have to empty a mini fridge to pick it up as an item.
