Why does percentage of Great Friends not update?

I have 8 or 10 stars (depending on their marital status) with every single person in my list. But when I go to Ginger Island, the computer says I have only 68% "Great Friends." What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

You need to have 10/10 hearts with everyone. This means that you need to date every bachelor and bachelorette and not only stop at 8 hearts with them.

That is not true, you only need bachelors and bachelorettes to be at 8 hearts unless dating/married

IIRC even if you are dating/married you only need 8 hearts. You can let your spouse/boyfriends/girlfriends decay to 8 hearts and still get perfection.

Are you sure you have all the people in the game on your list? Do you have Sandy? The dwarf? Krobus? Kent? Leo? The wizard? (Some of those people may show up automatically on the list, I'm not sure, but I know the dwarf and Krobus won't show up unless you talk to them. And I think the wizard automatically gets added to the list in the cutscene where he gives you that potion, but iirc you can skip that if you do Joja.)

Ah ok, I think I remember that being said somewhere but took marriage needing 12.5 hearts for perfection a bit too far ig

I have 10 of 10 for everyone now, gave them all bouquets, completed the list. Maybe I need to update the game? I even have 10 with Lance, so I'm confused.

Yes, you're correct, using Expanded mod. But all the original characters still have 10. I think I'm doomed never to be "perfect," LOL!

If you play with mods you need to have full hearts with all modded characters as well. Did you meet them all?

Good question -- not sure. Assuming not since I'm still so low in % but they don't show up as ? in my list. Will have to do some research. Thank you all!
