Giant crops...can they grow overnight in the last day of the season???

SO i am trying to get giant crops...yes I know they take ages and the probability is low

BUT

I was just wondering if they can occur overnight in the last day of a season??

They can not. You should harvest them.

Are you trying to get them in a specific 3x3 slot? Then the chance is low (1%). But you have a 1% chance for every potential 3x3, so with a large field the accumulated chance is actually pretty decent.

The problem is that they will not turn to giant crops when you go to sleep on the 28th. When you wake up on the 1st of the next month they will all be dead crops, no chance for giant.

Like others have said, they can appear on the last day of the season, but not the first day of the following season.
