Is it Possible to Get/Store [Insert Obscure Item Here]

Hey I was wondering if anyone has managed to store a prismatic jelly, ectoplasm, qi bean, or qi fruit without it disappearing and how did you do it?

Also has anyone here managed to get a regular quality legendary fish?

I may update this forum once I can think of any other items that fit this category but the disappearing items and regular legend fish were all I could think of today

I don't know any way to store those items naturally, but you might be interested to know that if you create Qi fruit wine or jelly, and it finishes processing before the quest expires, the wine or jelly won't disappear.

Definitely Tailor that item while the quest is active! And if you're playing on Switch or with a controller, maybe Tailor 3 or 4 as accidentally trashing Clothing is an unfortunate unwanted habit of mine...

Just wanted to reply to conclude the Legendary fish situation.
Yes, indeed like Elenna previously suggested, with the training rod all the legendary fish and their cousins can be caught in normal quality.
I have actually already caught the Summer, Fall and Winter one. The Spring one I don't want to try right now as I am Fishing LV9 and doesn't have Qi Seasoning yet, but that should be OK to do with a bit of luck and maximum buffs. It should be the same difficulty as getting the Legend in iridium quality as the bobber (Quality Bobber) and bait should not affect how easy it is to catch the fish. Baits do make them more frequent I guess...

On getting [x] obscure item, is this one possible? I did remember reading about it in the Wiki a while ago and recalled it just now.

Unlike some of the unobtainable items (e.g., Jukebox Ring), this was distributed once (not on the Switch) but not sure if that means it's at least possible on our saves too.

Awesome to hear that the fish are possible! And as for the panda hat I believe you can get it only in the Chinese release of the game so yes it is technically possible to get but it’s most certainly impossible to get on switch.
