Windows Fishing soft crashing game

When accidentally casting or casting to fish the player is frozen with the casting meter continuously moving. The rest of the game runs as normal, but I am unable to unfreeze and all buttons are unresponsive. Only way out is to pass out or restart the game which causes loss of progress. PLEASE HELP

Hi, I had the same problem. I think it might have to do with the game detecting both the gamepad activity and mouse activity. If you go into options/controls when you press E and scroll down, you can turn off gamepad detection, which means pressing C to cast the rod (or preform any other action that normally works by clicking the mouse) won't work anymore and should allow you to fish.
