Unable to move items in house

Hey y'all, I hadn't played in months and upon the game loading I noticed that I now have a random fireplace behind 2 fridges. The problem is now I can't open either fridge. I am also unable to move the fridges (because they are full) or the fireplace. Help, please!

Make some chests, move all your stuff from fridges to them then move those to get to the fire place

It's a pain in the butt, but it's happened to me on several occasions....

You can move the fridges and chests by holding on the tool use button I believe it was, with an empty inventory square selected, in front of them continually until they pop into another spot. I recently learned that from maybe a YouTube video. But yeah it's how you move storage items with stuff in them.

No, it is possible on Switch & other consoles, just not on mobile, because the feature was added in 1.5. Just follow @SiameezyRPGer's steps, but spam the button, don't hold; that should do it.

@Franxie03, it looks to me that you are playing on console. Can you try using the right joystick to bring up the cursor, hover over the fireplace, and pick it up that way? I believe that will solve the problem.

Oh it was press multiple times, not hold? Been a few weeks since I was playing. But yeah I've been playing on Switch and it works.

Have you tried putting the cursor more towards the floor? Sometimes on mine, you have to grab at the floor level

Try to pick up the fireplace, not the fridges.
