Who has caught the Legend?

Has anybody caught the legend? If so how long did it take you? I haven't caught the normal one but I caught Legend ll. It took me maybe 10 tries.

I caught it on my main farm in year 2 with iruduim rod and cork bober maybe my 3rd try

If you can catch Legend II, you can catch Legend. They are basically identical.

I know, right? This is the worst part about the Legend, for sure.

"Can't you see I'm busy? Wait –what, you want me to spend twelve hours "fishing" at a mountain lake, waiting for some random fish to give me a bite? That is NOT on my to-do list."

I don't even fool with trying until year 2. Year 1 - complete the community center Year 2 - finish friendships and fishing Year 3 - adventures guild, shipping, cooking and GI = 100% perfection early year 4.

They aren't so hard if you use seafoam pudding buff, cork, and iridium fishing pole. Fishing is my absolute favorite thing to do. I love the river farm.

I've done them, it's a 'if you've done the second you've done the first' kinda thing.
I'm currently catching it spring 14th yr 1 with a fiberglass rod and only level 10 fishing with food already...
I've reset too many times and kinda quit the save so far, I'll go back when I have more time/patience.
